Kareem’s has been Mumbai’s byword for gastronomic experience since 1995. Pampering Mumbai’s discerning palates with the unique masterpieces of Indian cuisine, Kareem’s is now in AbuDhabi and Dubai. My visit to Kareem’s in Al Karama was excellent. The restaurant has a spacious seating and a great ambience.
For the starters, we opted for the Non-veg platter which had 12 pieces of assorted finest kebabs. They were delicious. (AED 45 for 12pcs)
For the main course, we had Murgh Dum Biryani, Murgh Tikka Biryani and Ghost Dum Biryani. I personally found the Biryani a little too spicy compared to the Biryani’s I have tasted before. The portion was great and the meat was perfectly cooked in the spices. (Non-Veg Biryani prices range from AED 28- 32)
And for the Dessert, we chose to try the Malai Firni– A Punjabi dessert that has a rustic flavor. Firni is a complete creamy rice based dessert topped with pistachios and almonds. This was toothsome. (AED 14)
Next dessert was the Shahi Tukra– a famous Hyderabadi dessert which is made with fried bread slices soaked in hot milk with spices, saffron and cardamom. Shahi Tukra was the hit of our dinner at Kareem’s. (AED 14)
Overall great dining experience, the servers were cheerful too. The prices are quite reasonable.
