Kitchen6 is an all-day dining restaurant featuring international buffets, Asian woks, Middle Eastern grills, European breads and Indian tandoors glowing through glass walls. The open kitchen invites watching chefs at work creating gastronomic delights.Offering cuisine from around the world, the Kitchen6 Weekend Lunch is perfect for those who want to try a range of dishes. I visited Kitchen6 for a weekend lunch as it was my husband’s birthday. It was an amazing experience trying out various cuisines from the 6 kitchens which also had the live cooking stations in it. We also had a birthday cake from the restaurant and a beautiful birthday song was sung for my husband by the staff. It was a nice gesture.
Kitchen 6 has a salad counter, Asian, Indian, Arabic, Western and the Desserts which makes you want try everything from it. I started off with the western counter having cream of chicken soup which I must say was thick, creamy and perfect in taste. I tried the roasted chicken with pepper sauce, roasted lamb with mushroom sauce, grilled potatoes and roasted mushrooms from the western counter which was delicious. My next stop was at the Asian counter and I wanted to try something new and I ended up trying Kueh Pie Tee which was the first time I had it. Kueh Pie tee is a thin and crispy pastry tart shell filled with a spicy, sweet mixture of thinly sliced vegetable or meat. I chose the chicken filing and it was great. Prawn crackers were crispy and tasty. I then made my way to the salad counter where I tried the corn salad and fresh cranberry juice. Next stop was my favourite sushi counter where I tried the smoked salmon sushi and this was the best sushi I had till date. I did make some room for desserts when I first saw the dessert counter! the dessert counter had a variety of pastries, puddings, ice-creams and Indian sweets (Gajar ka Halwa and Gulab Jamun) as well. I managed to have small portions of everything possible but wasn’t able to try all L
This lunch was so satisfying and I couldn’t ask for more. I would visit kitchen 6 again to enjoy the splendid spread.
