Mama Fu’s has a great cozy and comfy ambience and warm welcoming staff. The menu is inspired by the cuisines of Vietnam, Korea, China, Japan and Thailand. The comprehensive menu boasts a good selection of appetizers, soups and salads, and main courses with a few rather nice looking desserts. The food was appetizing.

For the drinks, I opted for Classic Mojito, a fresh mix of mint leaves and lime poured over iced soda water. (AED 19)

For the starters, I ordered Lettuce Wraps which is minced chicken with mushrooms, water chestnuts, scallions and garlic served with cook lettuce wraps and sweet tamarind sauce. I totally loved these lettuce wraps. They were filling and a good portion for 2. (AED 40)

For the main course, I ordered for Mongolian Beef in which the beef is cooked in savory garlic sauce cooked with white mushrooms, yellow onions and scallions. Fried rice is accompanied with the Mongolian Beef. (AED 50)

Another main course was Lo Mein Chicken. A classic bowl of egg noodles in garlic sauce tossed with white mushrooms, cabbage, crisp carrots, bean sprouts, scallions and onions. The Lo Mein taste a bit bland to me, hence I added salt and pepper which then tasted great. (AED 40)

As I was stuffed with the starters and main course, unfortunately couldn’t try their desserts.
